Instructions to referees

Peer review is still regarded as the best way to assess the originality, validity, importance, and reliability of research presented in this video journal.

The peer-review process has traditionally been voluntary for scientific publications. We offer another excellent reason for participating in the process: all the publications you approve are free to access on the Internet for the benefit of the widest possible audience, including yourself, your colleagues, and everyone with an interest in this exciting video platform.

In reviewing the submissions, please consider the following criteria:

* The objectives of the article are clearly stated
* The results in the article are correct and clearly stated
* The interpretation of results in terms of theories, models, etc., is clear
* The significance of the research reported in the article in the context of past and/or future studies
* The overall quality of presentation
